Tiahura
Seventeen pearls.
A silk cord.
The beach where it all began.
The detail
Sautoir, about 50 cm.
Seventeen circled Tahitian pearls, 9 to 12 mm.
Set in a considered rhythm, weighted so the necklace won't turn.
Fixed without glue on a silk cord.
No clasp — it slips over the head.
Signed with an engraved mother-of-pearl — Coprah Cabana, Moorea.
The material
Habotai silk ribbons, soft, light, discreetly shiny and above all very resistant. Silk dyeing is based on non-toxic pigments. Color irregularities may occur due to its natural, hand-crafted finish.
The origin
Coprah Cabana certifies the authenticity of its Tahiti Cultured Pearls, produced in French Polynesia by the Pinctada Margaritifera pearl oyster.
Keishis and Perles de Tahiti are natural, offering a variety of hues and shapes.
