Before Moorea, there were the windows. Years as a visual merchandiser in jewellery, then in luxury — Daum, Baccarat, Lalique. Learning how to present an object. Understanding what makes it right.

Moorea, 2010. Carol opens LENDROIT, a concept store in Tiahura. The desire to create her own jewellery follows, almost immediately.
A chance find online. Silk ribbons, made and dyed in Germany. Soft, light, resilient. It felt right.

The pearls come from Polynesian oysters. Carol buys them in lots, sorts them by hand — each pearl chosen for a specific piece, a specific ribbon colour. An eye trained by years in luxury doesn't compromise.
The work happens at home, on the terrace. Garden. Quiet. Moorea all around.

That's where the Perles de Paradis are born.
